Michael Peache joined Centurion Funding Group in May of 2007 and looks forward to meeting your unique financing needs. Having had two other careers, Michael comes to the mortgage business through a non-traditional path and brings a fresh and unique perspective to the lending process.
Michael has a degree in meteorology with a focus on the study of air pollution. He spent twelve years working as an air pollution meteorologist and project manager, studying everything from the dispersion of industrial pollutants in the environment to background pollution levels in rural America. Eventually, it was time to move on and Michael began his second career in the high-tech field of computers and computer networking, where he spent twenty years in a progression of positions. He started as a programmer and trainer, quickly moved into sales and spent twelve years as the sales manager of a local network systems integrator. Subsequently, he spent several years as the general manager of a local internet service provider.
Looking for new challenges that would utilize the analytical skills of his science background and the relationship skills of his sales background, Michael settled on Mortgage Loan Officer as the perfect match. In addition to the analytical and sales aspects of the job, Michael enjoys educating people regarding the loan process. He has found that despite a home purchase being the biggest financial transaction in their lives, most people don't know what to expect and don't understand the process and why it works the way it does. Michael recently said, “I'm here to shed light on all the issues associated with obtaining a home loan and I do everything I can to help my clients feel comfortable throughout the process.” Whether you want to understand every step along the way or just have Michael “take care of it”, he'll earn your trust by making the process as smooth and painless as possible.
Michael Peache writes a monthly newsletter, Focus on Lending, highlighting everything you need to know about obtaining a loan for your new home, refinancing an existing mortgage and maintaining the best possible credit rating. Plus, there's always something fun, including the occasional joke, photo and recipe.
